Epoxy-Stone Decking
What is
epoxy stone? Epoxy stone is a resurfacing material made up of small
stones mixed with epoxy. It creates a uniquely beautiful surface suitable
for porches, patios, walkways, pool decks, basements, and even driveways.
The natural stone blends well with most surroundings to make it very
versatile. It looks great on surfaces that have cracks or low areas.
Epoxy stone is very economical when compared to the options of a new
deck, tile, brick pavers, etc. It' s easy to clean and maintain as well.
Most any cleaner works fine, and it can even be cleaned with a power
washer, if necessary. Maintenance consists of putting an epoxy sealer
on the surface every two to three years, and unlike most other surfaces,
will bond back to itself.

"Epoxy Stone Specialists"
Dear Customer,
CONGRATULATIONS
on your new Epoxy Stone surface. We make every attempt to offer you
a quality product, and to assist you in proper care and maintenance
of your Epoxy Stone surface. We would like to offer some suggestions.
Clean regularly
with most any household cleaner, i.e., "Mean Green", "Purple
Power", or chlorine bleach. Pressure washing is a good way to clean
your Epoxy Stone surface.
Exposure
to sunlight will cause Epoxy to lose its shine. We recommend sealing
the surface every 2-3 years with Stone Bond Epoxy. If you are a Do-it-Yourself
person we can supply all the materials you will need, or we will be
glad to service your decking for you.
- DO clean
the surface before sealing.
- DO rinse
thoroughly.
- DO let
surface dry completely before sealing.
- DON"T
walk on surface before it's dry, which is usually 24 hours or less.
- NEVER
use any type of acid or solvents such as zylene, MEK, etc.
